Psychotherapy + Clinical Support

Somatic Pacing, Energy Management & Neuro-Affirming Growth

Our psychotherapy consultations provide a dedicated, neuro-affirming space designed to support late-identified and questioning adults navigating life. Rather than demanding behavioural conformity, our therapeutic framework is built to help you cultivate sustainable pacing strategies, manage systemic energy depletion, and establish deep self-compassion.

Crucially, we look after your nervous system and build somatic safety not as an end in itself, but to provide the vital capacity required for honest personal growth. Within these sessions, we work collaboratively to:

  • Deconstruct Internalised Stereotypes: Explore and dismantle outdated public narratives surrounding neurodivergence, helping you develop an authentic understanding of your unique profile while moving past identity-performance toward true self-awareness.

  • Support Energy Management & Agency: Implement practical, nervous-system-aware strategies to address chronic cognitive fatigue and burnout. We work to identify the boundary between genuine neurological exhaustion and the protective, defensive habits that can stall your personal and relational evolution.

  • Foster Character Maturation & Integrity: Navigate the emotional and practical impacts of late identification, using your diagnostic insights as a foundational manual to cultivate an internal locus of control, dismantle outgrown coping mechanisms, and embrace deep interpersonal accountability.

What Therapies Do You Use?

My approach is client-centred, trauma-informed, and neuro-affirming. I work within an overarching psychological well-being framework where we look at life as an integrated whole, moving beyond surface-level accommodations to focus on the core dimensions of human thriving:

  • Autonomy: Supporting your ability to move through the world independently, develop an internal locus of control, and navigate social or cultural pressures on your own terms.

  • Environmental Realignment: Exploring ways to consciously manage your daily life, physical pacing, and surrounding environments sustainably.

  • Personal Growth: Cultivating a continuous sense of character development, a commitment to self-confrontation, and an openness to new experiences.

  • Positive Relations: Fostering warm, trusting, and satisfying relationships with others, while dismantling defensive, protective habits that create interpersonal friction.

  • Purpose in Life: Clarifying authentic goals, embracing personal responsibility, and cultivating a meaningful sense of direction.

  • Self-Acceptance: Developing a compassionate, honest attitude toward your natural neurology, your shadow traits, and your unique lived history.

To support these areas, I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities tailored to your profile. My practice integrates frameworks from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Schema Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Interpersonal Therapy. Crucially, these modalities are informed by a deep psychodynamic context, allowing us to gently make the darkness conscious and examine unconscious defence mechanisms, and are anchored on an operational foundation of Polyvagal Theory to ensure your nervous system has the somatic safety required to do this profound work.

A Space for Authentic Expression

I welcome all styles of natural communication. In this space, you are safe to express yourself authentically—whether you prefer being direct, sharing via deep information-sharing, taking ‘the scenic route’ through tangents, fidgeting freely, standing up, or taking regular breaks. My role is to offer a predictable, validated, and collaboratively co-regulated environment where you can unmask safely.

It is important to note that navigating a late-diagnosed neurodevelopmental profile does not inherently mean you are broken, nor does it automatically require therapy. However, many neurodivergent adults find profound value in a dedicated, rigorous space where they can be deeply understood, while building the resilience, integrity, and insight needed to thrive in a world that is frequently unaccommodating.
