Sleep quality is the foundation of nervous system regulation. If breathing is restricted during sleep, the resulting fatigue can look exactly like ADHD. To give you the most accurate results, we want to rule out or treat these physical factors first.
-
Yes! There is considerable overlap with neurodivergence amongst these cohorts, and I work with all kinds of individual presentations. I stand with the neurodivergent queer community as a passionate ally.

Psychologists have a minimum of six years of training in human behaviour to diagnose and treat a range of mental health issues.
Psychiatrists are medical doctors who train for a minimum of eleven years. They diagnose and treat severe mental illness and prescribe medication. If you are seeking medication for ADHD, I recommend seeing a psychiatrist for the assessment process to save doubling up on time and money. You will need a referral from your GP. Finding a clinician who is a good match can take time, and it is important that you feel respected, seen, and heard.
